Specified by specific gravity rather than by appearance. Drilling applications require consistent density across a shipment, which makes batch-to-batch stability the whole commercial question.
Lump and sized fractions
Value follows purity and iron content rather than volume. Sized and graded to the buyer's specification, whether the destination is a glass furnace or a silicon smelter.

Demand is being reshaped by grid build-out, electrification and data centre construction at a point when ore grades are declining across established producing regions.

Pakistan holds substantial mineral deposits, and international interest in them is higher now than at any point in decades. Most of that interest lands on the largest assets.
Considerably less of it reaches the operators working smaller deposits, where the constraint is rarely geology. It is consistency: material that matches the sample, quantities that arrive when they were promised, and paperwork that survives inspection at the other end.
